Day 1 Arrival à Transfer to Colombo- On arrival at Colombo International Airport, you will meet & greet by Ceylon Expeditions Tour Manager. After discussing the trip plan we will privately transfer you to the Colombo (45 Min drive)

Explore Colombo & its suburbs with architectural hot spots including Dutch Hospital / Dutch Museaum / Sri Lanka Parliament (Subject to security approval) / Gallery Café / CASA Colombo Hotel / Galle Face Hotel (Old Wing) Tintagel Colombo / BMICH / Seema Malakaya & Gangarama Temple / Hilton Hotel Colombo / Independence Square / Cargills Building / Old Parliament / Town Hall / Mount Lavinia Hotel

 

Day 2 Transfer to Dambulla - After breakfast we check-out and leave for Dambulla (4 Hrs). En-root visit Pinnawala Elephnat Orphanage. Enjoy a tea at Ambepussa Rest House which is a classic colonial building belongs to British colonial period. 
After breakfast from Colombo, we check-out and leave for Cultural triangle (Sigiriya / Dambulla). Visit Heritance Kandalama Hotel which is one of the master piece of Geoffrey Bawa, The world renowned Architect. Then proceed to Ulagalla Walawwa (Uga Escape Luxury Boutique Hotel) Situated within the Cultural Triangle in the ancient city of Anuradhapura, Ulagalla was once a regal, ancestral home. Hence today, the sprawling property features a 150- year old mansion, with 20 exceedingly private, ecologically constructed chalets added on and expansively spread out 

 

 Day 3  Explore Polonnaruwa – Minneriya National Park – Dambulla -  Visit Polonnaruwa Ancient City (UNESCO World Heritage) / Lunch at Polonnaruwa and afternoon visit Minneiya National Park. Back to hotel before dusk  

 

Day 4  Dambulla Cave Temple – Transfer to Kandy - Transfer to Kandy. En-root visit Dambulla Cave Temple (A UNESCO World Heritage) and leave for Kandy. Explore Spice Garden in Mathale. Enroot visit Ena De Silva Bungalow in Matale . Reach Kandy by 1.00 PM and check-in to Kandy Hotel. 

 

 Day 5   Royal Botanic Gardens Kandy / Sightseeing city tour / Tooth relic Temple / Kandy Cultural Show  - Visit Sacred Tooth Relic Temple of Buddha 
Architectural places in Kandy – Queens Hotel / Tooth Relic Temple / Kandy House Boutique Hotel / Mountbatten Bungalow 
Visit Kandy Cultural Show (Daily at 6 PM)

 

 Day 6  Luxury scenic train ride to Nuwara Eliya  - Today we check-out and transfer to Nuwara Eliya on luxury scenic train (Subject to seat availability) 
Nuwara Eliya is full of living British Architecture heritage in Sri Lanka including tea estate bungalows / offices etc. We will be visiting below places in Nuwara Eliya

 Day 7 Horton Plains National Park (Optional) à Leisure  -  Optional visit to Horton Plains National Park. Visit Pedro tea Estate & Tea Factory and evening leisure.

 

  Day 8 Transfer to Bentota via Kitulgala (Optional White Water Rafting)    Check-out and leave for Bentota (4-5 Hrs) En-root you may enjoy white water rafting at Kitulgala. Lunch at Kitulgala Rest House and leave for Bentota   

 

 Day 9  Visit Lunu Ganga Mr Geoffrey Bawa’s residence / Water Sport – Madu River Boat Ride   -  Visit Mr Geoffrey Bawa’s residence / Enjoy water sport activities in Bentota / Madu River boat ride.  

 

 Day 10  Bentota à Galle - Colombo – Departure   - After breakfast we check-out from Bentota and leave for Galle to explore the best preserved Dutch Fort of Galle (UNESCO World Heritage) including Dutch reform church and other important Dutch remains. 
Galle Fort is an ideal location to explore the massive Dutch Period buildings including Amangalla boutique Hotel and other buildings inside the Dutch Fort.
On completion, travel to Colombo on southern highway do a Colombo sightseeing city tour including most important monuments in Colombo.
