Sri Lanka Latest Travel Guidelines 6th July 2022
As per the latest Sri Lanka entry requirements, following changes are effective for tourist / and business travelers to Sri Lanka with immediate effect.  

Do I need to get Covid 19 treatment insurance coverage when I enter to Sri Lanka for a holiday?
No. This mandatory insurance coverage for foreign passport holders has lifted and no need covid 19 insurances now in Sri Lanka when you come for a holiday / other purpose. 

Do I need to submit a health declaration form at the Colombo airport when I entry to Sri Lanka?
No. This rule has been lifted and submission of Health Declaration form is not required in Sri Lanka now.

Do I need to stay quarantined if am fully vaccinated and arriving Sri Lanka with a negative PCR report?
No quarantine requirement for passengers who are fully vaccinated or arriving with a negative COVID-19 test (PCR/RAT) 

Am fully vaccinated. Do I need to undergo PCR test before come to Sri Lanka?
No. Fully vaccinated travellers do not need to perform COVID-19 tests (PCR or Rapid Antigen test) before travelling to Sri Lanka.

What is the rule for un vaccinated or partially vaccinated travels to Sri Lanka?
Unvaccinated / partially vaccinated passengers of 12 years and above must carry:
a negative COVID-19 PCR test report done within 72 hours.

Or

a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) report which was done within 48 hours from the departure time into Sri Lanka (self-swabs are not allowed).
These passengers will be exempted from on-arrival testing.

Persons with a history of COVID-19 infection more than 6 months before the date of departure with a single dose of two-dose vaccine will NOT be considered as fully vaccinated and should arrive with a negative pre-boarding COVID-19 test. They will be exempted from on-arrival testing.

Is it danger travel to Sri Lanka during this time>
Not at all. Sri Lanka is passing a financially critical period and you will experience fuel / gas ques and 2 – 3 hours power cuts per day during your holiday in Sri Lanka but purely it’s not danger to travel and no risk at all. Further all approved travel agents in Sri Lanka are having a special priority card to obtain fuel during your holiday in Sri Lanka. 

Is on arrival VISA available in Sri Lanka?
Yes VISA can be obtained on arrival and online before arrival both. But recommend obtaining you VISA beforehand to avoid unnecessary hassle on arrival.
