Latest Travel Restriction update in Sri Lanka during financial crisis 
Sri Lanka is passing a critical period due to financial crisis. Considering the current economic crisis, government of Sri Lanka declared “Fuel only to essential services” for 2 weeks until 10th July 2022. Also, except essential services, all other public / private sector people to “Work from Home” to limit the transport. Also, few countries have imposed travel ban to Sri Lanka including UK / USA and few other EU countries. 

Is it safe to travel Sri Lanka during financial crisis?
Yes of course. There is an unrest situation in Sri Lanka due to fuel / gas / essential medicine but there is no risk at all for tourist to travel within the country. 

Can I get medicine if I get sick during my holiday in Sri Lanka during crisis?
Of course. All public / private hospitals are in operation, and you will get the required medicine during your holiday in Sri Lanka.

Is this fuel shortage will affect to our family holiday in Sri Lanka?
No. All travel agents in Sri Lanka are accept tours only if adequate fuel available beforehand. Further Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority has issued a special priority permit to get fuel for tourist transport.

Of course. All tourists sites are open for public and there is no operational impact for tourist attractions and other activities. 

Can I do wildlife safari during economic crisis in Sri Lanka?
Yes, all National Parks are open and safari jeeps are in operation

Are the tourists sites entrance fees and wildlife safari ticket prices increased due t financial crisis?
UNESCO World Heritages and Wildlife Park entrance fees are remains same but safari jeep costs increased recently due to fuel hikes in Sri Lanka.
