Historical of Heritance Tea Factory Nuwara Eliya Sri Lanka 
Before it became a luxurious five-star hotel, as name suggest, Heritance Tea Factory was a working tea factory in early Ceylon and in many aspects, this hotel is link with British Colonial Period of Ceylon (19th Century). 
In early 18th century, the Hethersett Tea Factory was the highest tea brand in the tea world with quality Pure Ceylon Tea. In the mid-1930 a new factory was built, which stands as the hotel today. When the new factory was built it boasted of a lot of technological feat.

This is an authentic theme restaurant which is a full-size replica of the actual train’s restaurant, sitting on its small-gauge rails, this restaurant offers an unique fine dining experience.
